This is building into a great series, I loved book 1 and this one even more. Can be read as standalone, but why when they are both so good.
Jenny has joined the police for one reason to find out what happened to her Cousin and Aunt, but for the 2nd time a body has turned up in the outback of Australia, and its her job and 1st priority to resolve this case. Her friend forensic specialist from Alderley Penny returns to help in more ways than 1, think she owns a forensic spoon only not used on the case. Nev, Tim q her colleagues are all present plus Nick from Willow Creek and the motel staff. Plus, there are a few new guests, and they definitely add to the atmosphere, plus the storyline, obviously.
The characters are wonderful, some quirks like the rest of us and all believable for who they are, but don't be fooled red herrings are available. I really enjoyed this and can't wait for the next but have no choice, so with batted breath I will. I can't recommend this enough and really hope You enjoy it as much as I do.
