Fantastic read. Once again Fiona Tarr captivates Us with her storyline and descriptions of everything makes one feels like they are there and that we know some of the regular locals within her books e.g. Opal Fields series and the Dawn Grave series too!

If you enjoy reading Australian stories that flow,; that keep you hooked with plenty of "who done it?", and interesting, relateable characters, then Fiona Tarr's Opal Fields series is for you. I love them, firstly because they are books I hate putting down; then, as a bonus, they are by an Australian author and I am learning little bits about a remote part of Australia while enjoying the story. Fiona's Grave series (Detective Dawn Grave) is equally good. While the books can be read independently, they are best enjoyed in series order to appreciate character development.

Loved this book from start to finish, Jenny is a great character .I have enjoyed reading all the books in this series

A fabulous conclusion to the series, though bittersweet as this marks the end of Jenny’s adventures in Coober Pedy—although it does leave one big question going forward: what’s going to happen to Nick?
Jenny’s life is never straightforward, and she can’t even attend her own bachelorette party (or hen party, as we’d call it in the UK) without a body turning up. But is it natural causes, or is it murder?
Despite the upcoming wedding, something doesn’t seem quite right, and Jenny just can’t leave it alone. She won’t stop until she finds the answers. This is a great series that takes you on a journey full of mystery and intrigue, all set in a really fascinating location, I would definitely recommend these books. I’m really looking forward to Fiona’s new series, which takes Jenny to Adelaide—perhaps we’ll finally get some answers to some of the more personal aspects of her life.
